Recording
It’s always a good idea to record yourself drumming so you can listen back to your playing to judge your progress. You can judge your sound, pulse and execution, while sitting back and not worrying about what to play next. If you are in a band, or get involved in more serious recording situations, it will be good for you to understand the basics of recording, and the basics of drum miking.
